Earlier this week, actress Mia Goth was seen wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger. This led to speculation that Shia LaBeouf has now proposed to his girlfriend. She continued to sport the ring, even wearing it at her appearance at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week. However, both Goth and LaBeouf are keeping silent regarding the rumors. Their representatives have also not responded to multiple requests to comment on the matter.

On December 2012, it was confirmed that Goth and LaBeouf started dating after they acted alongside one another in the Lars Von Trier film, Nymphomaniac: Vol. II . Prior to dating Goth, LaBeouf dated designer Karolyn Pho. However they split up after two years of dating. LaBeouf also dated his Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star Carey Mulligan back in 2009. And it seems like LaBeouf has a thing for his co-stars as it was revealed that he hooked up with Megan Fox when the two were making the Tranformers movies.
LaBeouf, for better or worse, takes his art seriously . “If you look at my behavior, it’s been motivated by a certain discourse,” he said in an interview. “Metamodernism has influenced a lot of my action in the public in this last year and a half—the idea of diametrically opposed ideas happening all at once: the irony and the sincerity, birth and death, the immediacy and the obsolescence.” Well, it seems he has found the perfect match in Goth.
Speaking to Style.com about her Vogue Italia photo shoot with Steven Meisel, Goth said, “When you’re being shot by Steven, everything feels elevated but true. He has a great eye for atmosphere, great at communicating ideas, and he’s interested in character.” She adds, “It doesn’t feel like working with a photographer, it feels like working with a director. He can convey an entire story in one image. It takes a certain confidence to let your subjects be free, and when I’m on his set, I’m truly liberated.”
While LaBeouf and Goth have been seen in public together, they have managed to keep everything about their relationship a secret from the press. However, now that Goth has been seen in public with the ring, the rumors about their engagement will never stop unless they confirm it.
Of course, it’s entirely possible that Goth is just wearing the ring as an accessory. But considering that they’ve been dating for a while now and they seem to be serious about their relationship, it’s extremely likely that a wedding is just around the corner.
