Nearly $7K In Victoria’s Secret Bras Stolen From Pennsylvania Store

Victoria's Secret Theft

The culprit who stole nearly $7,000 worth of bras from Victoria’s Secret is being referred to as a “brazen bra bandit” by central Pennsylvania newspaper Centre Daily. The source says that a suspect has made off with almost 150 bras from a Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania Victoria’s Secret.

The culprit staged not one, not two, but three heists at the Wyoming Valley Mall’s Victoria’s Secret store. The thefts took place on three separate days.

According to the Citizen’s Voice, the first incident took place on Tuesday, February 17. The thief stole 94 bras from the Victoria’s Secret display drawers. The Victoria’s Secret store manager “reported there were suspicious females in the store around 5:50 p.m.,” but that “it was unclear if they had taken anything.” The bras stolen just that day totaled $4,166.

The next incident took place eight days later on Wednesday, February 25. The thief, or perhaps thieves, stole 39 bras this time, once again from display drawers. They only got away with $1,773 of goods this time, though. Also, the police were able to narrow down the time of the left to anywhere between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The latest incident occurred this past Saturday on March 7. The culprit only got away with 12 bras, this time it was from a rear display. The police were able to narrow down the time from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The total stolen from the Victoria’s Secret store on Saturday was just $500.

The total numbers for the Victoria’s Secret bras stolen? Exactly 145 bras totaling $6,399. The stolen Victoria’s Secret bras ranged in sizes, including As, Bs, Cs, and Ds.

So how could that much Victoria’s Secret merchandise be stolen? What about security cameras?

According to Citizen’s Voice, “In each of these thefts there has been no suspect description provided by store security.”

This isn’t the first time that Victoria’s Secret has suffered from so much stolen merchandise, with similar thefts in Minnesota and Ohio.

So how does one get away with that much Victoria’s Secret merchandise all at once? The police, who don’t have any suspects at this time, really aren’t sure.

While Victoria’s Secret works on recovering from such a large theft, let’s hope they’ve learned their lesson and have a little more security in their stores and on their products.
