Bobbi Kristina is 22 today. The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston remains in a medically induced coma at a hospital in Georgia after being found face down in a bathtub in January. According to Yahoo! News , Bobbi’s boyfriend (and unconfirmed husband) Nick Gordon has been using social media as a way to express his love for Bobbi Kris, and to vent about how hard this whole thing has been for him.
Gordon has been banned from seeing her, but sent out a tweet to wish her a happy birthday.

Bobbi Kristina turning 22 in the hospital raises more questions. It seems as though the days are drifting by, and that her family is still holding on to whatever small bit of hope is left. According to The Hollywood Gossip , Brown and Houston family members have plans to gather at the hospital today , and to be by Bobbi’s side as she turns another year older. There are rumors that the family is spending this time quietly with Bobbi Kris because the difficult decision to take her off of life support has been made. Some believe that Bobbi will be removed from all machines within the next few days.
Despite the family asking for prayers, there haven’t been any real solid updates on Bobbi Kristina’s current condition. Earlier reports indicated that an effort to bring Bobbi out of the medically induced coma was unsuccessful as she started having “violent seizures.” Some believe that the silence surrounding the family is because they are all grieving, and taking time to say goodbye.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , there has been some debate about why Bobbi is being kept alive if she is indeed brain dead (this has not been confirmed by the hospital). Some say that Whitney Houston’s mother, Cissy Houston , is ready to let Bobbi go, but that Bobby Brown is having a very hard time, and wants to keep his little girl “alive” for as long as possible, still hoping for a miracle.
Bobbi Kristina has lived 22 years in the shadow of her parents. Sadly, it doesn’t look like she will live to see another birthday.
