Does Camille Grammer Have A Boyfriend? Plus, The ‘RHOBH’ Star Reveals Her Ex Proposed
Camille Grammer is currently single after a messy split from her ex-boyfriend, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, at the end of 2013.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, as reported by Bravo on February 26, Camille Grammer, of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, opened up about her love life, and gave an update on her health.
“I’m not serious with anybody. I don’t think I’m ready just yet, and I really have to say, I’m enjoying my life being single! In the past, I’ve always been married or in a long-term relationship, so I’m enjoying dating.”
Camille Grammer married actor Kelsey Grammer in 1997, and remained married until 2010, when it was revealed that he was having an affair with flight attendant Kayte Walsh. In August of that year, Kelsey announced he and Walsh were expecting their first child together, but sadly, Walsh suffered a miscarriage. Then, in 2011, two weeks after his divorce from Camille Grammer was finalized, Kelsey and Walsh tied the knot.
Following the divorce, Camille Grammer began dating Charalambopoulos, a fitness trainer and attorney from Dallas, Texas, and the pair filmed a few scenes together for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Eventually, as the Inquisitr reported, the relationship between Camille Grammer and her boyfriend took a turn for the worse, and resulted in her being granted a restraining order.
Following claims of a hotel room assault, in which Charalambopoulos allegedly beat Camille Grammer, pulled out her hair, and smashed her phone, a judge signed an order, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from Grammer and her two children.
Although she didn’t say who, Camille Grammer revealed in the interview that one of her ex-boyfriends, whom she dated years ago, wanted to marry her.
“I was asked [to get married] right before my birthday a couple of years ago. He told everybody in my house that he was getting me a ring. It was a big discussion, and I just couldn’t say yes. I wasn’t ready.”
As for her ongoing battle with cancer, Camille Grammer is now in remission.
“I finished treatment on Jan. 3, 2014, so I’m a year in remission, and I’m feeling great! Overall, I’m happy. I’m fulfilled and I’m in a great place in life. I’m so happy I could show my daughter what it is to be a strong woman.”
Camille Grammer made an appearance on Tuesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, she was not seen in a full-time role on Season 5, nor does she appear to have any plans to rejoin the show.
