Will NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak soon star in their own Real Housewives of Atlanta spinoff? According to a new report, the former co-stars may soon reunite for a series of their own.
On February 26, LALATE revealed news of the potential NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak show, claiming Leakes would be a producer on the series.
Although no specific details regarding the NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak show, the site said there were three things that will come into play when it comes to making the series happen: salary, time slot, and production.
Since NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are both such notable characters on Bravo, they will surely demand high salaries for the possible show, and with Leakes as producer, things could get extremely costly.
Time slot is important as well. For instance, if NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak’s show was paired with The Real Housewives of Atlanta , it would likely see higher numbers than if it aired mid-week.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak may soon be in the same boat, when it comes to their roles on The Real Housewives of Atlanta . After seven years with the series, Leakes is reportedly ready to move on .
“NeNe hates everything about RHOA and she’s sick of it all,” a source told Radar Online last week. “She hates Kenya [Moore] and Claudia [Jordan] so much and she thinks they’re bringing the show down.”
The source claimed Leakes participates in what is required of her but refuses to do anything more regarding the promotion of the reality series — and that includes blogging and tweeting about the show.
“NeNe wants to make sure all of her other projects are going well and making her money. She spends all of her time working on her other money deals and she doesn’t care about Housewives right now.”
In addition to her role with Bravo, Leakes has made her way into scripted television and acting on Bravo. She’s also launched her own clothing line.
Prior to joining The Real Housewives of Atlanta , NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak were close friends and remained as that for many seasons. However, they eventually had a falling out and spent years apart before reconciling their friendship last year.
NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak were last seen together on Bravo last year, when the former co-stars appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live .
