James Kennedy Returns To SUR Lounge — With Kristen Doute In Tow
James Kennedy returned to SUR Lounge on Wednesday night with his formerly banned girlfriend and Vanderpump Rules co-star, Kristen Doute.
On the third season of Vanderpump Rules, fans watched as James Kennedy’s girlfriend cussed out her manager, Diana, who was attempting to end an argument between Doute and Scheana Marie.
On the following episode, Vanderpump and her staff sat down with Doute and decided that not only is she no longer employed at SUR, she’s also no longer welcome at the restaurant socially.
Now, however, things appear to have changed. During a DJing gig last night, James Kennedy partied at SUR Lounge with Doute at his side.
On February 25, James Kennedy confirmed on Twitter that he would be spinning records at SUR Lounge later that day.
“I’ll be DJ’ing at @SurRestaurant tonight! Come hang out with me people! #PumpRules @GZSur.”
Hours later, Doute shared a photo of James Kennedy with her fans, revealing she, too, was at SUR Lounge.
“That’s my bae.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, James Kennedy’s girlfriend spoke out about her exit from SUR Lounge earlier this month, revealing she would like to return to Vanderpump Rules Season 4, if producers will have her.
In an interview with E! News, James Kennedy’s girlfriend revealed the following.
“I worked at SUR for over seven years, which is an insane amount of time to hold a restaurant job. My time was up. The place was really getting to me, especially having to work with Tom and Ariana, it was just eating away at me every day.”
As for a Season 4 return, Doute remains hopeful.
“At this point, we’re three years in and everything that I’ve been through, I put my life on the line for everyone to see. I’d want to continue the journey. I don’t want to throw everything away just because I don’t work at SUR. If there’s a fourth season, I hope they’ll ask me back.”
So far, Bravo has yet to announce plans for a fourth season of Vanderpump Rules, but judging by the series’ high ratings, the show will likely return.
James Kennedy’s girlfriend has been a main cast member since the series began in 2013, but since she is no longer working at SUR Lounge, where the series is shot, it’s hard to say whether or not producers would want to include her on the show.
