Amanda Bynes has escaped her September 2014 DUI arrest, according to a Daily News report. However, the troubled starlet will have to wait four months to appear in court again. A Ventura County judge announced on Tuesday that he had a “lengthy discourse” with the actress inside the courthouse. He will extend her temporary conservatorship to her new hearing, which is set for June 23, according to the source.

This doesn’t come as a surprise to some fans. The Inquisitr previously reported that Amanda Bynes won’t be facing her DUI charge . The Los Angeles District Attorney announced late last month that they would not be pursuing charges.

Bynes did not appear in court during the hearing. She reportedly managed to leave the building without anyone recognizing her. Bynes’ lawyer then exited at the back of the courtroom, near the judge’s chambers.

A source close to Amanda says that the She’s the Man star is “doing much better,” and is having a better relationship with her mother and conservator, Lynn Bynes. Amanda will remain under the care of her mother temporarily, the source added. Lynn has been serving as Amanda’s conservator since 2013. Under this conservatorship, her mother will make all the medical and financial decisions for her 28-year-old daughter.

Bynes’ attorney, David Eqsuibias, spoke exclusively to Access Hollywood . He said that he’s very happy about the recent developments. “I am glad the arrangement is continuing . The legal process is working in Amanda’s favor.” He also added about his client, “She’s doing well.”

Amanda was arrested in the early hours of Sept. 28, 2014. She was charged with driving under the influence (DUI). The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office have decided not to press charges “after much deliberation and review.” Amanda’s case will still be forwarded to the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office as “ a possible probation violation “, says The Hamilton Spectator .

Earlier this month, Bynes made a public appearance with a friend in West Hollywood. The recent paparazzi photos showed that her hair was blonde, once again. Bynes wore a black and white gingham shirt over a white Stussy tee with gold lettering and ripped jeans. She also wore black sunglasses, a black chain strap bag, and white sneakers with black laces and pink soles . Bynes looked content as she enjoyed her shopping trip with her friend. The actress was also seen constantly staring at her phone.

Maybe Amanda Bynes was checking out her rumored secret Twitter account. Hopefully, the actress will sort herself out and focus on getting better instead.
