One person who is impressed, at least visually, with Chelsea Houska’s boyfriend, Cole DeBoer, and thinks that he’s a big improvement from her ex, Adam Lind, is Jenelle Evans’ mom. Over the weekend, Barbara Evans, who is frequently on Teen Mom 2 with Jenelle, posted a tweet that made clear that she likes what she sees . Barbara even poked fun at Adam’s frequent trouble with the law.
“WHOA!!! DID YAH AWL SEE @ ChelseaHouska BOYYYYYFRIENDDD?? bOH MY LAWD! I BET ADAM IS KICKIN HIMSELF FROM INSIDE HIS JAIL CELL!!” Barbara tweeted.
Not even Jenelle’s exes are free from Barbara’s sarcastic and funny jabs. In one recent tweet, Barbara made fun of Kieffer Delp , whom she often clashed with during Jenelle’s relationship with him. During the relationship, Barbara thought that Kieffer was a bad influence on Jenelle and was simply using her.

As reported by OK! Magazine , at the Teen Mom 2 Season 5 reunion show in April, 2014, Barbara admitted that she was quite impressed initially with Jenelle’s current fiancé and father of her second child, Nathan Griffith, because he looked so respectable and not like a drug user. But then Barbara said that she had a problem with Nathan not having a job and expressed fear that Nathan, like the other guys, would just end up using Jenelle.
One issue that Barbara and Nathan have not agreed on is her custody of Jenelle’s older child, Jace. In one episode, Nathan told Jenelle that she should fight to get full custody of Jace. However, Jenelle remained reluctant to change Jace’s situation and take him away from the person who has effectively raised him as a mom his entire life.
Has Jenelle Evans now changed her mind regarding Barbara Evans’ custody of Jace? Last week, Radar Online published an article claiming that Jenelle is preparing to fight Barbara in court next month for full custody. According to a source, Jenelle served Barbara court papers about a week prior. Barbara, in turn, has retaliated by restricting Jenelle’s access to Jace.
“Barbara’s excuses keep changing. When Jenelle asked last week why she couldn’t see Jace, Barbara said, ‘Well, you’re taking me to court, aren’t you? Alright then, you aren’t seeing Jace’ — then she hung up on Jenelle.”
If Jenelle Evans really is fighting Barbara Evans for full custody of Jace, that seems to still be news to Barbara. The day of the Radar Online story, Barbara tweeted a photo snapshot of the story and proclaimed surprise .
