One week after the birth of her and boyfriend David Gardner’s healthy baby boy, Liv Tyler has revealed the newborn’s name via Instagram with a single adorable hand in hand pic, a nautical pendant and the unique name in a caption to complement.
As the Daily Mail shares, along with the picture is the description below it unveiling the name of the healthy baby, who was born a full six weeks early .
“Sailor Gene Gardner”
The That Thing You Do starlet and baby Sailor were quickly visited by Grandpa Steven shortly after the sweet boy’s birth, and the Aerosmith frontman was unable to hide his excitement about welcoming his second grandson. Check out the famed rocker’s beaming smile in the picture below.
Steven Tyler recently admitted to E! Online that he could not hold back the emotion when he got the call that the newest member of his family was about to arrive.
“When I got the call that Liv was going into labor, after crying like a baby myself, I immediately dropped everything and went to to the airport to get on the next available flight. When I landed I kept calling my daughter MIA who was already helping Liv and she kept giving me minute by minute updates,’HURRY THE BABY IS COMING!’ I made it RIGHT in time before my second grandson entered this world. It was another (God wink) moment of a lifetime for me.”
With a name like Sailor, the new addition to the Gardner-Tyler crew is sure to be an adventurer like his grandpa.
Surrounded by her family and loved ones, Liv has been active and spotted out since the unexpected birth, of course looking absolutely flawless and fully recovered after last Wednesday’s delivery in Manhattan’s West Village neighborhood.
Liv maintained her signature style, wearing a long black coat over a patterned and flowing maxi-dress with leather lace-up boots while her gorgeous tresses hung naturally to her shoulders, framing her radiant complexion. Tyler even added a pop of pink lip color to help those signature Tyler lips stand out even more.
Pictures of Liv and David’s new addition have yet to be released, as the couple and their extended family is ensuring to shelter the delicate newborn. However, Sailor is reported to be completely healthy.
