Anna Wintour Wants Children Banned From Fashion Shows After North West’s Meltdowns
Anna Wintour is apparently not too amused at the behavior of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter.
North West accompanied her mom and dad at some major events during New York Fashion Week, but the 20-month-old girl didn’t have the best time. Nori had meltdowns at two different shows, including her father’s Adidas show.
Anna Wintour was seated next to Kim and Nori, and grew visibly upset when North West launched into her tantrum. Now, the Vogue editor-in-chief reportedly wants all kids banned from fashion shows.
“Anna doesn’t think fashion shows are appropriate for very young children such as North West,” an industry insider confirmed to Radar Online. “The loud music, the lights from the show, along with flashes from all of the cameras, and of course, all of the people is just overwhelming to a toddler. Anna never would have brought her now-adult children to fashion shows when they were young.”
Ironically, Kim Kardashian had joked about the incident and even gave Anna Wintour credit for sitting through the toddler’s tantrum. In a Twitter post, Kim wrote as follows.

But sources say that Wintour does see a good side to North West’s tantrums, as well.
“However, Anna does think Kimye is absolutely genius in creating buzz,” the source told Radar Online. “Bringing North to Alexander Wang’s fashion show resulted in everyone talking about her, and not the clothes. Wherever Kim and Kanye go, it becomes all about them. Just look at the Grammys: Kanye just makes a 30 second crash appearance on stage, and everyone is talking about it for the next week!”
But Anna Wintour isn’t the only one upset about North West and her fashion show tantrums. Other fashion industry insiders were also mad at Kim and Kanye, with the New York Daily News noting that Anne Slowey asked, “Couldn’t they leave it backstage?”
