Jessica Simpson looks slimmer than ever after going through some rough patches between having babies. And while some celebrity moms turn to extreme weight loss diets and hours on the treadmill, Simpson credits her sleek physique to Weight Watchers and tracking her steps with a pedometer. Jessica recently showcased her hourglass shape on a date night with her husband Eric Johnson.
Turning to social media, Simpson shared her affection for her health and family. In addition to flaunting her figure, she gushed about little two-year-old Maxwell and 19-month-old Ace. Jessica described her “kiddos” as perfect and turned the spotlight on her positive body image. Attired in chic black attire and matching eye makeup, Simpson chose the Doors’ “Light My Fire” for her selfie caption.
So after two babies, how do Eric and Jessica keep the romance alive? As the Inquisitr reported, Jessica recently felt inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey. And so she persuaded Eric to join her in re-staging scenes from the movie, even dubbing it “Fifty Shades Of Johnson.” Those photos also gave Jessica the opportunity to show just how much weight she’s lost in recent years. But how did she do it?
Simpson had three secret weight loss weapons: Weight Watchers, a pedometer, and celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, according to OK magazine. Jessica used Weight Watchers’ jump-start program. The plan emphasizes unlimited non-starchy vegetables combined with lean protein. She also enjoys the sugar-free desserts. And Simpson swears by the benefits of working out, both in terms of training with Harley and walking four miles daily, which she tracks with a pedometer.
“I think staying active is the best thing you can do. Get a pedometer.”
As for Harley, Jessica has depended on the celebrity trainer for about eight years, and he’s proud of her weight loss success, reported People.
Pasternak revealed that Jessica deserves kudos in particularly for her famously toned legs as well as following her Weight Watchers diet so diligently. As a result of using her fitness tracker, Simpson has succeeded in achieving what’s regarded as the gold standard of 10,000 steps per day. Her trainer noted that Jessica’s pedometer has done more than boost her weight loss.
“[She’s] been incredibly consistent with our workouts. Most notably, Jess has outstanding legs. They’re toned and sexy in all the right ways.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Harley also contends that by following low-carb diet guidelines, you don’t have to skip parties to stay on your weight loss plan. He suggests eating prior to heading to that event. Then fill up your plate with non-starchy veggies, followed by protein, which will help you cut the carbs. By combining a fitness tracker with a low carb diet, you can avoid weight gain while enjoying celebrations with your friends.
“Load up on a lean protein like roasted turkey, ham, or a lean cut of brisket. The idea is that you fill up on that stuff so you don’t go overboard with the potatoes and breads,” advised the celebrity trainer.
