Andi Dorfman Speaks Out After ‘Bachelor’ Interview: Single Andi Has More To Say

Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman thought she had found love with Josh Murray on the show, as the two got engaged and tried living together in Atlanta. The two were together for a few months prior to making an appearance on the red carpet together in early January. They appeared happy, but when Andi was asked about wedding planning, she began questioning the relationship. Why hadn’t Dorfman and Murray planned their wedding?

Just a few days after the appearance, Andi Dorfman released a statement saying that the relationship was over. This came as a shock to everyone, as they had appeared happy just days prior. Dorfman sat down with Chris Harrison to reveal what had gone wrong. Now, a few days later, Andi has more to say.

According to a new tweet, Andi Dorfman is now speaking out after her emotional interview aired on ABC on Sunday night. Dorfman released a statement via a picture on Twitter. Here, Andi gives thanks for the people who rallied around her when things went south.

“In a journey that changed my life, I have felt the strongest love and happiness but also the darkest sorrow and pain. But I am alive. I am standing. Not alone, but surrounded by every stranger’s kind word. By every immeasurable ounce of love from family and friends. I have searched for the words to express my gratitude but can’t seem to find them. So I will just say two…thank you.”

It is very possible that Andi is referring to Nikki Ferrell here, as they became close while filming The Bachelorette. According to the Inquisitr, Nikki has expressed sadness and shock over the decision, but has said that she stands by Andi.

While Dorfman didn’t go into details about what happened, it sounds like both of them just realized that the relationship wasn’t progressing as they had hoped. During her interview with Chris, Andi Dorfman pointed out that neither of them really made the other person better.

“It was pretty mutual. We were both very aware of the fact that we just didn’t better each other. I didn’t feel supported and empowered, and I don’t think I gave him that support and empowerment that he needed. When you have two very passionate, very strong personalities in one house and nobody can back down and nobody is that calming force for one another, it’s a lot of emotion and it’s a lot of tension in one house.”
