Despite being behind bars, Teresa Giudice is reportedly still keeping an eye on her husband, Joe Giudice. On Monday, OK! Magazine reported that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who may not be out of prison until early 2016, has hired a private detective so that she’s aware of what Joe is doing at all times.
While Teresa’s rep denies that she took such a bold move, personal protection specialist Mark Behar confirmed to OK! Magazine that he was contacted by the reality star via a family member.
“She had a cousin call me. Teresa senses things are not right, and she wants to make sure the kids are OK.”
An insider also told the magazine that Teresa is worried that Joe won’t be faithful.
“She knows that Joe is a cheater. Especially now that she’s in jail – I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a VIP at every strip club in Jersey.”
Mark said that his job is to take “as many pictures as possible” of Joe as possible. While Teresa didn’t tell Mark that she wanted the photos as evidence in a future divorce, Mark speculates that it will be used for that.
“But this is what people do. From what I gather, Joe wants out. But he’s trying to save face in the media, because [he] can’t be seen as a horrible father.”
Besides staying faithful, Teresa apparently also doesn’t trust Joe’s ability to properly care for their four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5. Mark said that Teresa told him to keep an eye on “how they look, if they’re eating and following their schedules.”
Of course, if Teresa Giudice really did hire a private detective to spy on Joe Giudice, why would that person blab about it to the press? Blabbing to the press would likely mean the end of his job. There is also the question of how Teresa is able to pay for such a service.
Teresa and Joe’s oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, has also spoken out about what a great job her father is doing taking care of her and her sisters. In an interview with Access Hollywood in late January, Gia said that her dad has been a “rock” for the family .
“I mean, my dad has been amazing. Like, he’s honestly the rock. He’s helping us so much.”
Just last Friday, Gia posted a tweet that portrays Joe as a loving and involved dad. Presumably, Gia and her sisters have told their mom that she has nothing to worry about on the home front.
While it’s questionable whether Teresa Giudice really is keeping an eye on her husband through a private detective, it’s more likely that she is passing the time in prison by keeping as busy as possible. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , an insider recently said that Teresa is watching TV, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta , working in the kitchen and reading mail from The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans.
