Kristen Doute And James Kennedy Fight: ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Lisa Vanderpump Weighs In
Kristen Doute and James Kennedy got into a heated fight during Monday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, and in a sneak peek at next week’s show, Kennedy’s boss discovers the news.
Speaking to Kennedy in a sneak peek shared by Bravo, Vanderpump is shocked to learn that Doute took a physical stand against Kennedy at Scheana Marie’s wedding to Mike Shay.
“Um, I wish I had time to enjoy it a little more,” Kennedy tells Vanderpump as she asks if he had a good time at the ceremony.
“I kind of got into it with Kristen, well, I got a lot into it with her. It was one thing that led to another with Kristen and I, I mean, I just drank, and drank, and drank because I got depressed, blacked out wasted and she walked off into the parking lot and we started shouting at one another.”
During the episode, Kennedy was drunk, and once Doute got fed up with his behavior, she walked out of the reception with another man. As he followed her into the parking lot, Doute became irate and, as they argued, she turned towards him and struck him twice in the face.
“She punched you in the face?” Vanderpump asks.
“Like full swing, right here, I had a bruise for a couple of days.”
Upon hearing the news, Vanderpump noted that Kristen Doute and James Kennedy’s relationship has clear insecurities, and rightfully so. Still, she said Kennedy should have handled himself better when it came to his alcohol consumption.
Looking back at the incident, Kennedy explained he was drunk and feeling insecure in his relationship because of Doute’s obsession with Tom Sandoval, whom she split from after Season 2.
Since the breakup, Doute has been doing her best to expose Sandoval as a cheater, even going as far as to meet with a women he allegedly slept with during his relationship with Madix. Unfortunately, despite her attempts, Doute has been unable to come between Sandoval and Madix, and the two appear to be completely happy in their relationship.
As the Inquisitr reported, Kristen Doute and James Kennedy are still together, and recently, Doute opened up about the man she left the wedding with.
“His name is Trevor and he is my Muay Thai trainer and friend,” she told AfterBuzz TV. “I had to walk off because James was getting drunk and I needed a break.”
