According to Bleacher Report , unofficial pictures of the new U.S away kits for the men and women national sides had been unofficially strewn across the internet for several weeks now.

However Darren Rovell , who works as an ESPN Sports Business Reporter & Business Correspondent, confirmed that the kit was the official new strip for the U.S. national sides.

According to Yahoo! Sports , the official press release for the kit describes it as featuring a “stylish gradient design.”

Alex Morgan, who plays in the National Women’s Soccer League for Portland Thorns FC, and has represented the United States Women’s team 79 times, scoring 50 goals, also took to Twitter to declare her pride at wearing the impending kit. She also insisted that she can’t wait to put it on at the 2015 Women’s World Cup this summer.

As you can imagine, not every U.S. soccer fan who saw the new kit was completely enamoured with the outfit, while others were won over by it.

The new #USMNT jersey really looks like the inkjet was doing some crazy things… — Jon Lim (@LimToTheLimit) February 16, 2015

I’d like the new USMNT jersey if it wasn’t for the collar. That red “undershirt” looking triangle is stupid.
