The Vampire Diaries First Look, Caroline and Klaus [Video]

If you thought The Vampire Diaries couldn’t get more interesting you would definitely be wrong. The CW smash hit seems to have a new couple…Caroline and Klaus.

In last week’s episode “Our Town” Caroline got bit by Tyler, which as we all know is a sure fire death sentence for any vampire. As she lay in her bed dying, she got a surprise visitor. It was Mr. Original himself, Klaus. It was obvious that Klaus wanted Caroline to get bit, he was the one who ordered it, but in the end it is interesting to find out why.

There seemed to be a chemistry between the two. He told her about how liberating it was to be a vampire, he told her about the world she will see, the music, the art. Then after giving her a nice shot of Klaus blood, the only known cure for a werewolf bite, Caroline woke up not only healed but with a beautiful bracelet left for her by Klaus.

This week e! Online caught up with Candice Accola the actress who plays Caroline and she gives us a little dirt about the upcoming February 9th episode called “The Ball”. It seems as if not only will Caroline be attending with Klaus but Elena and the Salvatore brothers will be getting back into it.

Accola had this to say to e! Online,

“I’m really excited there’s an episode where there’s a ball. Everyone got to get all dressed up. We took ball dancing lessons. It was really fun. I’m excited for people to see that episode for many more reasons besides the fact that we got to get dressed up, but I don’t want to give those reasons away. I’m just going to say because we got all dressed up, which is code for a lot of s–t goes down.”
