Dungeon Fighter Online for Xbox 360 gets a longer name, new trailer

Nexon’s Dungeon Fighter Online was originally said to be due out on Xbox Live Arcade last year, but the port of the PC free-to-play beat-’em-up missed that window.

After several months of silence, Nexon sent word today that Dungeon Fighter Online for XBLA is still happening, but under a new, longer name: Dungeon Fighter LIVE: Fall of Hendon Myre. The game still doesn’t have a proper release date, but Nexon says that it should be out later this year.

To go along with the announcement of the name change, Nexon also released the first trailer for Dungeon Fighter LIVE. In the video, you’ll get a look at some footage of the game’s Slayer, Fighter, and Gunner classes. We also get a peek at the game’s new console-friendly UI, which is actually looking quite nice.

Unfortunately, next to nothing is known about Dungeon Fighter LIVE at this point. As previously mentioned, the PC version is a microtransaction-supported free-to-play title, and it isn’t currently known whether or not the Xbox Live Arcade version will follow a similar structure.

While we wait for more word from Nexon, you can go ahead and check out the debut Dungeon Fighter LIVE: Fall of Hendon Myre trailer below.
