Although she’s a part of the Young Money Cash Money family, Nicki Minaj is not getting involved in the beef between Birdman and Lil’ Wayne.
Minaj spoke with Freesami in December stating, “I ride with Wayne on whatever” but added that her other boss, Birdman, “has played such a huge role in my mental stability.”
Reports came in that Minaj denied Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Williams, entrance into her pre-Grammy party. It looked to many that Minaj was picking sides and was backing up Wayne.

The party was taking place at 1Oak in Los Angeles this past weekend. Williams, who is technically Minaj’s boss, arrived at 1:45 AM and was denied entry into the popular club.
According to HipHopDX , when Birdman and his crew approached the door to Minaj’s party, they were repeatedly told “no” while onlookers could be heard commenting, “ They’re not letting him in .”
Could this be a sign of things to come? Could Minaj be leaving Birdman’s Cash Money Records to follow Lil’ Wayne and Young Money?
According to TMZ , no, that is not the case.
Firstly, the head of Cash Money arrived to Minaj’s party 15 minutes before it was set to shut down and the “ mogul’s posse was looking to order bottle service .” The lights were already turned on inside, preparing to close for the night.
Secondly, sources report that Minaj had already left her own party before he arrived, therefore being unable to be accused of denying him entrance.
It was simply a case of bad timing.

Minaj along with fellow artist and friend, Drake, are doing their best to stay out of Wayne and Birdman’s feud, which includes a $51 million lawsuit against Birdman, although it doesn’t seem to be that easy.
Wayne has said that when he is finally able to break free from Cash Money, he is taking both Minaj and Drake with him.

Minaj once referred to the Young Money Cash Money crew as “family” and added that, “We’re not always the best of friends, but we’re a family and we love each other underneath it all.”
While things could get even uglier in the future, for now, Nicki Minaj isn’t joining in on this fight.
