Nick Gordon has an explanation for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s injuries that many people – including the police – find suspicious.
According to Daphne Barak, documentary producer and close friend to Nick Gordon, there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for the bruises and injuries. Barak says she spoke to Nick on the phone, and that he told her the bruises were caused by his efforts in performing CPR when he found Bobbi Kristina Brown face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia home on January 31.
“Nick told me that the bruises were from his CPR,” Barak said. She claims that Gordon also told detectives that the bruising was due to his CPR efforts, as well.
The idea that some of the bruising on her chest may have been caused by CPR efforts is plausible, but, as WSB-TV reports, police are also concerned about what they term “suspicious” injuries around the mouth and face of Bobbi Kristina Brown, as well. As the Inquistrpreviously reported, Nick Gordon has been the main focus of the police investigation surrounding the suspicious injuries on Bobbi Kristina Brown.
Furthering the suspicions gathering around Nick Gordon, who has referred to himself as the “adopted son” of Whitney Houston as well as the husband of Bobbi Kristina Brown – although reports indicate otherwise – is the fact that a friend of the couple, Max Lomas, claims that Nick cleaned up Bobbi Kristina’s house, even removing some bloodstains.
Gordon was never officially adopted by the late Whitney Houston, but Houston opened her home to him when he was twelve-years-old, after learning that he was not cared for in his own home.
Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hospitalized at Emory University hospital in Atlanta, where doctors have kept her in a medically-induced coma since she was brought in.
There are conflicting reports surrounding not only the mystery of how Bobbi Kristina Brown ended up unconscious in a bathtub in her home, but also to how grave her injuries may be, and how her family, headed by father Bobby Brown, plan to proceed in the care for the young woman. Recent rumors include the idea that the Houstons and the Browns have decided to remove Bobbi Kristina from life support on February 11, which would coincide with the date that Bobbi Kristina’s mother Whitney Houston died several years ago, but a source tells Extra that the family has no such plans.
