Rumors that Bobbi Kristina Brown may have been murdered are beginning to grow as the daughter of Whitney Houston is reportedly close to death and police are investigating her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, about the strange circumstances of her collapse last week.

Police were called to Brown’s house last week after she was found unconscious in a bathtub, the victim of a suspected drug overdose. Bobbi Kristina Brown was revived and rushed to a hospital, where she was placed in a medically induced coma in an attempt to lessen brain swelling.

Sources this week said that Bobbi’s condition is not improving, and that she may in fact be near death.

“It doesn’t look like she’s coming back, at least not back to her old self,” a source told Us Weekly. “[Bobby] hasn’t been able to accept that his daughter isn’t coming back. Their last interaction is not the last one he wants to have with his daughter.”

While her collapse may still be officially viewed as an accident, there are growing rumors that Bobbi Kristina Brown may have in fact been murdered. Police reportedly found suspicious injuries on Bobbi, and there are reports that she was engaged in a physical fight with boyfriend Nick Gordon just an hour before she was found unresponsive.

Others noted that Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon had a volatile history.

“Bobbi and Nick have a terrible relationship. Her friends and family have worried about how Nick treated her for years. The family worried he was emotionally abusive. Bobbi’s friends and family tried to get her to leave Nick, as they feared he was a bad influence. They worried he was controlling and everyone felt like he was just with her for the money,” a source told HollywoodLife.com.

Adding the speculation are reports that Bobbi Kristina Brown was planning on leaving Nick Gordon.

“Bobbi always contemplated leaving Nick every few months. But they had been tight since they were kids, so she felt dependent on him. Before the accident, she was close to finally cutting him out of her life for good. She was talking about moving to California to make a fresh start and follow in her mother’s footsteps,” a source added to HollywoodLife.

While the speculation is mounting, police have not officially said whether they believe Bobbi Kristina Brown was murdered — and the family is also disputing reports that she is near death. Her father, Bobby Brown, contested reports that family was gathering at the Atlanta hospital to say their final goodbyes.
