Heidi Klum Discusses New Body Change Since Turning 40

To say that Heidi Klum is a beautiful woman might be considered by some as a major understatement. The 41-year-old model and mother of four has been able to maintain her top-notch physical appearance for decades.

Since the early 90s, the German native has made a significant impact in the world of fashion and modeling. From her captivating strolls down the average fashion show runway to her longtime hosting gig on the popular TV competition series “Project Runway,” Heidi Klum continues to cause the jaws of men and women around the world to drop.

When it comes to staying in shape, Heidi Klum got a chance to speak openly about her beliefs in an interview with You magazine.

According to Yahoo! News, Heidi Klum believes that she is not able to wait until a certain season before getting into shape. On the contrary, she strives to maintain her great shape all year long.

“I always have to be ready to take off my clothes and look great. People who are not in my industry probably don’t worry as much about how they look, because they don’t have to take their clothes off for lingerie shoots all the time. I’ve never had that summer-season blitz where you’re getting ready to look good in your swimsuit. As a model, you have to look good all year round.”

Klum goes on to explain that, in the modeling industry, not staying in great shape throughout the year could actually cost her to lose out on lucrative opportunities.

“If you’re not fit and you’re not 100 per cent someone else is going to get the job. There are so many beautiful girls to choose from, so if you want to be top, your body has to look top.”

Although Heidi Klum has not been featured as a regular runway model for Victoria’s Secret since 2010, she is still selected as the front cover model for numerous fashion magazines — including Elle and Vogue.

Klum might be turning 42 this summer, but her toned body and unblemished complexion help her to look better than many women half her age.

Heidi Klum even laughed while talking about the only thing on her body that has supposedly changed since she reached her 40th birthday.

“The only thing that has really changed for me since turning 40 is my eyesight. I love what I do, and I have plenty of energy. I’m always eager to learn and do better, and I still feel like I’m 30.”

In addition to her successful modeling career and longtime hosting gig, Heidi Klum has also starred on the small-screen in numerous television shows since the late 1990s.
