Russell Brand To Have ‘Last Meeting’ With Katy Perry In Los Angeles

British comedian Russell Brand flew to Los Angeles this weekend to have a final meeting with estranged wife Katy Perry.

According to reports Brand dined alone at Boa Steak House on Saturday night.

Brand, 36, is expected to meet with Perry, 27, to finalize the couple’s divorce. In the meantime a source close to Katy has said all along that she wants to reconcile with Brand and save their 14-month old marriage despite her parents urging to date someone more religious.

Russell Brand didn’t exactly go out of his way to attend the divorce meeting as he was already in town to attend the Golden Globes ceremony.

In the meantime sources close to Brand say he doesn’t want to work things out and is ready to move on and find some closure from the situation.

Brand and Katy will meet at the Beverly Hills hotel where Katy has been a guest.

News of the Katy’s attempt at reconciliation comes just days after she was tied to Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow, 24, who sources say her parents would love to see her dating because of his strong religious convictions. But apparently the source told The Daily Mail:

“Keith and Mary have also been reaching out to Russell and sent him a text telling him he is in their thoughts and that they love him.”

In the meantime Katy has continued to avoid the press, turning down her invitation to the People’s Choice Awards on Thursday. After ditching the show Perry won five awards and tweeted to fans:

‘THANK U to every1 who voted for me for the @peopleschoice tonight! We won so many! Now I need to get more books 2 successfully display them!’
