Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard of 19 Kids & Counting have had quite the whirlwind year. They courted then got engaged, married and pregnant all in one year and their baby boy is due in the spring. Many fans remember the big greeting between them when Derick returned to the United States from Nepal, and now Jill and Derick are celebrating the anniversary of that big day.
19 Kids fans loved the scene where Jill Duggar and her family greeted Derick Dillard at the airport as he returned from doing mission work in Nepal. She ran across the “Do Not Enter” sign, setting off an alarm, and the two shared a gasp-worthy front hug.
Luckily Jill’s parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar understood the hug and nobody got too worked up over it. Of course as 19 Kids fans know, during courtships according to Duggar family rules, only side hugs are permitted.
Jill and Derick made their way back to that same spot over the weekend just ahead of the anniversary of it happening. Derick posted a photo of the two together at that “Do Not Enter” sign and they reminisced over the big day.

Indeed Jill and Derick are expecting their baby boy in March, as they became pregnant very soon after their June 2014 wedding. Fans still buzz about that greeting and hug, the emotional interaction being a favorite moment for many 19 Kids & Counting fans. In just a matter of hours, the photo garnered 30,000 “likes” and hundreds of comments.
19 Kids fans love Jill Duggar’s baby bump pictures, though she hasn’t been doing weekly updates lately like she did early on in her pregnancy. Fans have had a few glimpses lately, most recently in early January when Jill and Derick hit a Razorbacks game. The Dillards are spending a lot of quality time together in anticipation of “Baby Dilly’s” arrival, heading out for date nights when they can.
A new season of 19 Kids & Counting debuts on February 17. Fans will get to follow along with Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s pregnancy, as well as watch the preparations for Jessa Duggar to marry Ben Seewald. Anna and Josh Duggar are expecting a baby too, and many wonder if Jessa and Ben will soon have pregnancy news to share as well.
