Telltale’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Episode 2 ‘The Lost Lords’ Teaser Trailer Released

The next part in the episodic Game of Thrones game series by Telltale games has been teased, via a post on the Telltale Games blog.

The episode, titles “The Lost Lords” takes the player to every corner of the the Game of Thrones world, from Mira in King’s Landing, Gerard Tuttle at The Wall and even to the far reaches of Essos to take the helm of the exiled son of House Forrester, Asher.

If you’re unfamiliar with House Forrester, don’t feel bad. The featured house of the Game of Thrones episodic series is a house only mentioned in passing within the pages of GRR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books. House Forrester hails from The North, owing their allegiance to House Glover, a bannerman of House Stark. Seated in Ironrath, a stronghold renowned for their abundant resource of Ironwood.

Game of Thrones is based off the look and feel of the HBO show by the same name, which in turn is based on the Martin book series. Actors from the television hit reprise their role, and while Telltale’s press release doesn’t name any new additions, by looking at the trailer we can assume Kit Harrington is back to voice Jon Snow.

For fans of both the books and the show, Telltale’s Game of Thrones series allows players to simply step into the world we have come to love. Set in the events starting from the end of Season 3 and going until Season 5 premieres, Game of Thrones fans can relive some of the most shocking aspects from last season. GRR Martin is also consulting on the game series, that is inbetween debunking popular fan theories.

Choices the player made in the previous Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series episode will carry over to Episode 2, much like previous games in the Telltale library. This will make each playthrough feel unique in a way, as characters will interact with each other differently in later episodes of the game based on your choices.

The company is going with the staggered release, as they did with Episode One, with PC/MAC and PS4/PS3 releasing digitally February 3, February 4 on Xbox One/Xbox 360 and finally hitting iOS and Android-based devices on February 5.
