Elin Woods and Tiger Woods Welcome New Baby Boy

Tiger Woods has a new little person in his family. Woods announced Monday that his wife, Elin Woods, has given birth to a new baby boy.

Tiger Woods’ new baby, Charlie Axel Woods, was born this past Sunday, February 8. Both he and Elin Woods are doing well, according to Woods’ official statement on his Web site.

Charlie Axel Woods is the couple’s second child. Their first, a girl named Sam Alexis Woods, was born in June of 2007 and is pictured to the right.

“Sam is very excited to be a big sister and we feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful family,” Woods says. “We look forward to introducing Charlie to you at the appropriate time.”

Tiger Woods’ last PGA Tour performance came with his U.S. Open win last summer. Woods has spent the months since then recovering from surgery on his left knee.
