2015 Super Bowl Ads Preview: Bud Light, Doritos, Budweiser Clydesdales, Go Daddy, ‘Jurassic World’ Trailer Top The List

Which 2015 Super Bowl commercials will be the most popular this year? The return of the Budweiser Clydesdales, hilarious Doritos ads, cute puppies, a new Jurassic World movie trailer, and the GoDaddy girl, Danica Patrick, are just a few of the Super Bowl XLIX ads that will create a buzz on game day.

Super Bowl 2015 will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on February 1 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. NBC will air the game and cash in on the commercials. Forbes reports that 30-second spots are selling for as much as $4.5 million, up 12.5 percent from last year. The hefty price tag has some advertisers cutting back, with Ad Age reporting that Coca-Cola and GoDaddy will only be running one commercial in 2015, instead of the two they paid millions for in 2014.

Football fans, and even non-fans, are hoping that the commercials will be as entertaining as the game itself. Even if the team you’re rooting for doesn’t win, there’s a good chance that there will be a ridiculously funny commercial to cheer you up. Here’s a look at some of the ads that will be coming to a television near you on Super Bowl Sunday.

Doritos recently announced the 10 Crash the Super Bowl finalists, with less than two weeks to go before two spots will be picked to air during the big game on February 1. “Middle Seat” (video above) and “When Pigs Fly” (video at top of page) are two ads that are getting a lot of attention, but you can decide which commercial is the best — go vote for your favorite until January 28.

GoDaddy is back with a winning combination — a beautiful woman (NASCAR’s Danica Patrick) and an adorable Golden Retriever puppy in an ad titled “Journey Home.” The commercial has yet to be released, but don’t expect it to be a tear-jerker — GoDaddy states that it will change from what appears to be a “Hallmark style commercial” into something unexpected.

A new trailer for Jurassic World will air during Super Bowl XLIX. The first preview was released in late 2014, but there is no doubt that the newest trailer will give moviegoers an even better idea of what’s to come in what may be this summer’s blockbuster movie.

Bud Light’s Super Bowl ad features a life-size game of Pac-Man and beer, of course. The commercial will be titled “Coin,” and while it’s not certain what will happen within the Pac-Man game that stretches a few city blocks, it’s likely Bud Light will not disappoint.

Although Budweiser has dropped the famous Clydesdales from their regular ads, the company will be featuring the famous horses in their 2015 Super Bowl commercial. The company made a quirky decision to feature Jay-Z and some zombies in their current ad campaign, but will stick with the classic Clydesdales for the spot on game day. Hopefully, Bud will bring on another cute puppy (like last year’s commercial below) and not scare the horses off with a rapper and a bunch of zombies.
