Tiffani Thiessen Pregnant: Daughter Begged Her For A Baby

It’s official! Actress Tiffani Thiessen is pregnant!

The White Collar actress and her husband, Brady Smith, are expecting their second child.

Tiffani’s official rep confirmed the news about her “bun in the oven” to People. According to a statement made by the couple, Tiffani and her husband are not the only ones happy about the news.

“We could not be more excited about extending our family. Harper is beyond thrilled to have a playmate!”

Thiessen’s 4-year-old daughter, Harper, actually played a supporting role of sorts when it came to encouraging her mother to get pregnant in the first place.

“Every day she begs me to have a baby. Every morning she wakes up and says, ‘Is there a baby in your belly?’ She thinks it grows overnight while we’re sleeping. Then she looks at me and says, ‘You’re not growing a baby, Mommy!'”

When it comes to the timing of her second pregnancy, the 40-year-old former Saved by the Bell actress admits that it is truly a great time for her and her husband to bring another child into the world.

That is primarily because her 4-year-old daughter is no longer considered a “baby.” Tiffani Thiessen expressed to People that there is nothing “baby” about her daughter anymore. She admits that realizing Harper’s “baby stage” is over has been hard and sad to deal with at times.

However, with a new baby on the way, it is basically like she gets a chance to hit the reset button when it came to starting a new “baby stage” with another child.

Wanting to have another baby is not something that Tiffani Thiessen has been secretive about in recent years. She has actually been very vocal about the topic, sharing her hopes for getting pregnant soon with online magazine Sweden with Love back in September.

“With Harper, it happened right away so I’m hoping it’ll be as easy this time around.”

Being able to expand her family by welcoming a new baby into the world is just one of the highlights Tiffany Thiessen can look forward to this year. She is also hosting a brand new cooking series, Dinner at Tiffani’s, on the Cooking Channel. The new show premieres on Wednesday, February 25.

Tiffani Thiessen and Brad Smith were married in a daytime garden wedding at a private estate in California on July 9, 2005. Their firstborn child, Harper Renn Smith, was born nearly five years later in June of 2010.
