‘Teen Mom 2’ Breakup: Did Jenelle Evans & Nathan Griffith Split Already?
Has a Teen Mom 2 breakup happened just weeks after an engagement? According to a new report, Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith, who became engaged earlier this month, have been fighting non-stop since Griffith proposed.
On January 14, Wetpaint Entertainment revealed a message posted be a former friend of the couple.
“This trip has been awful. Worst trip of my life…Jenelle and Nathan have fought the whole time on a level to which I’ve never seen before in my life… they have got into fights with all of us over them bring rude and stupid.”
While on vacation in St. Thomas, Evans and Griffith got engaged after a year-and-a-half of dating. As fans have seen on the show, Evans and Griffith met on a dating app in June 2013 and moved in together weeks later. Then, in December of that year, they announced they were expecting their first child (Kaiser was born in June 2014).
Also on the show, a Teen Mom 2 breakup has seemed possible. In addition to their regular fights, which are often screaming matches, Griffith’s relationship with Evans’ mom, Barbara, has been strained.
On Twitter, Evans denied having split from Griffith during their vacation, but admitted she and her fiancé experienced hard times while on vacation.
“I just want all this drama to end. There was a point where we all were friends and after a day in a half of bad s**t said it has ended.”
Also on Twitter, Evans denied reports of a Teen Mom 2 breakup.
“My ring is on my finger lol we didn’t break up. I messed up that relationship status thing I need my computer to do it.”
As the Inquisitr reported on January 7, Evans opened up about Griffith’s proposal in an interview with MTV.
“We went to a fancy restaurant, and we were just going out to have a nice dinner… Nathan’s brother came the day after [we did]. [We were like,] ‘Everyone is finally here — let’s just go out and have dinner.'”
After dinner, as the network’s blog reported, the Teen Mom 2 couple became engaged.
“[Nathan] just tapped his glass, stood up in front of the whole restaurant, and made this big speech… How he loves me, he wants to be with me for the rest of his life. And he’s really happy. And then he got down on one knee and proposed in front of everyone.”
Not only are these two not headed for a Teen Mom 2 breakup, they are reportedly in talks with MTV for a televised wedding.
