Jill Zarin Denies ‘RHONY’ Return, Claims Show Wasn’t Healthy

Jill Zarin won’t be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City for Season 7.

Although there have been rumors claiming Zarin could return to the show after her Season 4 firing, the former Bravo star recently set the record straight.

“I appreciate all the love and support but I have moved on and away from the past,” Jill Zarin said, according to a January 5 report by AllAboutTRH. “It was not healthy for me. But I will still be on tv but under different circumstances.”

There have also been reports claiming Bensimon may have filmed for the upcoming season. As the Inquisitr reported, the model and former wife of photographer Gilles Bensimon was recently in Miami, spending time with Ramona Singer.

“Bethenny Frankel isn’t the only Real Housewives of New York star hitting the beaches of Miami this week. Ramona Singer and former co-star Kelly Bensimon also threw on their best bikinis and posed for photographers,” Reality Tea reported at the end of last month. “Kelly and Ramona were spotted all over, both donning their skimpiest swimwear and looking like they were having a lot of fun together.”

According to the Inquisitr, Bethenny Frankel, a former friend of Jill Zarin, decided to return to the show last summer, and began filming Season 7 later that year.

“After many years of hesitation, I have decided to return to my roots on ‘The Real Housewives of New York City.’ I have been through a long and arduous road since my departure, and I’m finally coming out on the other side. It finally feels right to go home again,” Frankel wrote on her website.

“After my talk show ended, I really had doubts about ever going back to television. I’ve been through a lot personally, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to expose myself to any more public scrutiny. That said, I’ve been so fortunate to be able to connect with the audience and inspire them to fulfill their wildest dreams. I learned a lot about myself through that experience. I really need to be able to express myself freely and creatively; I like when no two days are the same, and I don’t thrive when being filtered or edited.”

While Jill Zarin won’t be seen on The Real Housewives of New York City, she did recently film an episode of Millionaire Matchmaker, with her friend Patti Stanger. On the show, Stanger attempted to find love for Zarin’s daughter, Ally.
