‘Teen Mom’s’ Tyler Baltierra Speaks Out Against Critics After The Birth Of Nova Reign
Tyler Baltierra from Teen Mom has a lot to be thankful for, and the year has only just begun.
Tyler and fiancé Catelynn Lowell welcomed their second daughter into their little family on January 1, 2015, and while the couple has been enjoying their time with their child, they have also been criticized by some for deciding to have a second child after putting their first daughter, Carly, up for adoption in 2009.
Tyler and Catelynn first appeared on the MTV series 16 and Pregnant. The show followed the couple not only through the teenage pregnancy, but also through their difficult decision to give daughter Carly, now 5, up for adoption. At the time of their first daughter’s birth, the couple strongly believed that they couldn’t raise Carly in the environment in which they were living, so they decided on an open adoption so the couple could still remain a part of young Carly’s life.
Throughout the years, the couple has since been featured on the MTV spinoff series, Teen Mom and has also become public speakers on the subject of adoption and open adoptions. They also appeared on the VH1 series Couples Therapy, where they decided to call off their upcoming wedding.
While things were rocky for Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell for some time, it looked like everything was falling into place following the announcement of their second child. The couple were overjoyed to find out that they were not only pregnant, but pregnant with their second little girl.
According to Us Weekly, the couple has been enjoying their second chance at parenting, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been criticized for their decision to have a second child after putting up their first for adoption. Tyler wants the critics to leave him, Catelynn, and daughter Nova Reign alone, and took to Twitter to post a message to those criticizing their choice to raise Nova.

Despite those critics, it appears as if nothing could get in the way of Tyler and Catelynn’s joy over their new baby girl.
According to E! News, Catelynn Lowell took to Instagram to post a sweet photo of baby Nova’s feet with the caption, “You are already my world… I love you so much you have already changed me in so many ways… mommy and daddy love you.”
