Manganiello Nervous: Joe Manganiello Was Nervous Before Proposing To Sofia Vergara

Joe Manganiello was nervous before proposing to his girlfriend, Sofia Vergara. According to AZ Central, Joe wanted to make sure that everything was perfect when he popped the question, but he was also worried that Sofia would say no! The Magic Mike actor and the Modern Family actress have only been dating for six months, but Joe simply didn’t want to wait any longer. He hoped that Sofia felt the same way, so he took a chance with a ring.

“He said he wanted to keep it private just in case she didn’t say yes. It actually didn’t seem like he was joking about that. He did seem genuinely nervous that maybe this wasn’t going to go well. He said this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with a one-in-a-million woman,” said a source.

Joe Manganiello didn’t have much to be nervous about, however, as Sofia Vergara said yes. According to People Magazine, Joe planned the proposal out, and really wanted it to be special for his leading lady. He asked for Sofia’s hand in marriage in Hawaii while on vacation with his Lady Love.

“Joe definitely planned ahead and contacted the hotel weeks in advance to discuss certain things he wanted to do. He didn’t want to propose in a public setting, even though there are so many beautiful spots on the hotel grounds that have spectacular views and are well-known as places where people pop the question,” explained a source.

Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara were staying at the swanky St. Regis Hotel in Princeville. The location is one of the most beautiful, and many say that the views are breathtaking. This really was a dream location to get engaged, and Manganiello made it happen.

Many think that Manganiello being nervous shows just how much he cares about Sofia, and just how much he really does love her.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Joe presented Sofia with quite a large engagement ring. It is unclear how many carats Sofia’s ring is, but it is easily one of the largest in Hollywood, rivaling Kim Kardashian (15 carats) and Beyonce (18 carats). The happy couple has not confirmed their engagement on social media just yet, but Sofia hasn’t been hiding her new bling. Also no word on when the two will tie the knot. This will be the first marriage for Joe, and the second for Sofia.
