Gay Couple Respond To Homophobic Christmas Attack In Delightful Fashion

The brilliant response by a gay couple to a homophobic slur that was written on their front door over Christmas has gone viral.

Warning: The attack does feature a horrible derogatory term, and those of you who are easily offended should progress with caution.

The pair’s front-door had the word “fa***ts” carved into it, directly underneath their Christmas wreath.

Obviously, coming across this vile and outrageous attack is enough to ruin anyone’s festive period. However, the couple decided to respond to this abuse with their own note, which was subsequently uploaded to Imgur.

And rather than getting angry and immediately seeking justifiable vengeance on their attackers, the couple decided to form their own funny retort, which shows that they are above the person or persons who set out to hurt them.

You can read their response below.

“To the individual who scrawled the word “fa***ts” into our door:

We regret to inform you that you completely failed to use glitter paint and/or sequins, your work looked rushed, and your handwriting was positively atrocious.

It is for these reasons that we had to remove your work from our door with sandpaper.

Fabulously yours,

The Gays in Apt. 611?

The identity of the couple involved in this incident has yet to be revealed. In fact, very little is known about where or when it actually took place. According to the Mirror, it is believed that the incident occurred in the United States on or around Christmas Eve.

The internet responded in droves to support the victims of this attack, after the picture had been uploaded to the world wide web by their friend.

Reddit user pwnyride13 had originally taken to the website to upload the image of the attack and their message with the headline, “Someone scratched a gay slur into my buddy and his boyfriends door, their response is priceless.”

An image of the “gays in apt 611.’s” sanded down door that has the word “fa***ts” removed has also been uploaded to the thread.

However, it now looks as though their door has changed from its vivid purple color to gray. You can check out a picture of their new door below.
