Katherine Kelly Lang Talks ‘Bold And Beautiful’ Return: When And How Does Brooke Return?
Katherine Kelly Lang has been off of The Bold and the Beautiful for the past few months, but the character of Brooke Logan will be returning soon. Just what can viewers expect from her return? Obviously a lot has happened since Brooke left town, and her return should make for some great storyline developments.
Lang talked to TV Guide and dished out some Bold and Beautiful spoilers about Brooke Logan’s return. The character pops back up again beginning January 22, and Lang says her first scenes are with Deacon and Quinn. She says that viewers will see that she knows that Hope lost the baby as the two visited in Europe off-screen.
While Hope and Brooke will have spent time together off-screen, all of the latest developments about Ridge, Caroline, Rick and Maya will come as a surprise to her. It seems she will be aware that Caroline and Rick were having problems, but she will not be happy to learn that Ridge was in the middle of the problems and that the marriage is still in a fragile state. Lang adds that it will be somewhat funny to see how she deals with the situation, but she won’t spoil more than that.
Rick is in a pretty ugly place these days, and Brooke will jump right in to try to fix things. However, Lang teases that it’s a bit like putting a band aid on a gaping wound. She will realize that he is delusional and that it can be a scary situation. As for Bill and Katie, naturally Brooke will be thrilled that her plan to have them get back together when she left worked.
While Brooke left to go tend to Forrester business in Europe, Lang left to go star on Dancing With the Stars in Italy. The judges were pretty rough on her, and she admits she was rather taken aback by it all. She reveals that she even got to the point where she turned off her ear piece as the judges were commenting so she wouldn’t get mad or hurt.
Though the experience on DWTS wasn’t a great one for Lang, she did enjoy being in Italy as she worked on expanding her caftan business, and she embraced living in Rome for three months. The actress has also become an ambassador for Breakaway From Cancer, a cause very close to her heart.
From the looks of Katherine Kelly Lang’s Twitter page, she’s been back on the set just a couple of weeks, but they’re clearly planning to keep her busy. Brooke Logan’s return to The Bold and the Beautiful happens on January 22, and it sounds as if it’s going to be fun for viewers to welcome her back into the mix of things.
