Iggy Azalea Man Rumor: Iggys Jokes About Being A Man, Says Her Name Would Be Liam
An Iggy Azalea man rumor had the entertainer sounding off on Twitter last week. According to MTV News, the “Black Widow” singer laughed off a story that she was actually a dude, and posted some hilarious tweets about the “discovery.” The story came from a site called Huzlers, and claimed that someone spilled the beans to an MTV News reporter. However, MTV revealed that no such story was reported, and that the information was never told to them.
Wait, so I’m just now reading that I was born a man and my name is Cody? *Cackling* why Cody tho? Lol.

I just don’t see myself as a Cody.

The Iggy Azalea man rumor was laughed off by the singer. While the story claims that Iggy came clean about her transformation, and that she struggled with identity issues through much of her life, it was reportedly fabricated. Of course, Huzlers claims that Iggy revealed this information herself, and that she wanted to come clean about her past. The site made “Iggy’s confession” into an online coming out party of sorts, saying that Iggy felt comfortable talking about the personal matter because of Michael Phelps’ girlfriend, who recently revealed her true identity.
“As a teenager however Iggy went on testosterone blockers and had her name changed and then, at age 18, underwent corrective surgery to get rid of her male genitalia,” reads the Huzlers story in part.
Aside from the Iggy Azalea man rumor, there have been quite a few negative stories out there about her, some true, and others not. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Iggy flipped off some people who were booing her in New York on Friday. That was caught on tape, so there was no denying her actions. However, she did take to Twitter to address some other rumors about her calling a fan “fat,” and those tweets got quite a bit of attention too.
As with any famous newcomer, stories like this are considered par for the course. There will be better stories, and there will be worse ones. The important thing, many will say, is how the celebrity handles the pressure. Iggy laughed off the rumors, which is a pretty good way to handle them.
