Scott Disick And Kourtney Kardashian Baby Name: Couple Reportedly Honor Lost Family Members

Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian welcomed a new baby on Sunday, and though the little one’s name has not yet been announced, one source they’re picking a name that carries some very special meaning.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star gave birth to her third child on Sunday, which also happened to be the same birthday as their oldest child, 5-year-old son Mason.

Though Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian have not announced the baby name, a source said they wanted to “honor their fathers” with a name that draws the first name from each.

“They really want to honor their fathers and have talked very strongly on Jeffrey Robert. That would be the order the name would be presented,” a source told Hollywood Life.

Scott’s father, Jeffrey Disick, died in January just three months after Scott’s mother died. Jeffrey was a real estate developer who took after his own father, David M. Disick. David had a reputation as a successful developer, building many luxury resorts and properties around the world as well as writing the book Fractional Vacation Homes: Marketing and Sales in Challenging Times.

Kourtney’s father, Robert Kardashian, was a prominent lawyer who gained fame as part of the “Dream Team” that earned an acquittal for Robert’s friend O.J. Simpson at his double murder trial in 1994. He died of cancer in 2003 at the age of 59.

Sources say that Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian want the new baby name to honor their lost fathers, though Scott had to do some convincing to make it happen.

“Scott really wants that more than Kourtney. Kourtney actually wants a more unique first name but may compromise and have Jeffrey as the middle name to make Scott happy as well,” the source continues.

Fans who want to know the real baby name that Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian chose will have to wait at least a bit longer. The couple had not yet released a statement as of Sunday night.
