News, Ava joined the social media service recently and one of the first things she did was poke fun at her famous father. Ava is the daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe. The couple may have ended their relationship several years ago but they still co-parent, and their kids are growing up. Since Ava joined Instagram on December 6, she has gained 3,800 followers.

Earlier this week, Ava shared a photo of a snow globe with a tiny bare Christmas tree. She captioned this photo with “merry minimalist Christmas @ryanphillippe.”

Both Ryan and Reese chimed in on the photo share with their comments. Ryan tried to defend himself by saying “A little excessive.” Reese chimed in with “Very minimal.” It is clear that this family is still quite close, even years after the divorce that separated them.

“I think we’ve gotten to a really great place … It’s going well, and she’s happy and remarried, and our kids are incredible. I’m proud of the way we’ve handled it and who our little people are.”

Ryan also revealed that Reese took Ava and Deacon on a walk in New York City, and they thought back to how they met. The couple met on the set of Cruel Intentions, and it is was filmed in NYC. He admitted that Ava and Deacon were “tripping out on the fact that we were there shooting a movie before they were even a thought in our minds.”

Fans of Reese Witherspoon will be able to see her next on the big screen in Wild. The film is in limited release now, and the actress also took on producing duties for the feature film, according to the Inquisitr. Witherspoon called it the “hardest movie” she has ever made. The film is based on the Cheryl Strayed memoir, Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail.
