Brooke Beaton Stalking Charges Against Adam Lind Not Dropped: What Happens Now?

Last month, Brooke Beaton filed a restraining order against Adam Lind, citing that he has a violent temper. The Teen Mom 2 dad was later arrested on domestic stalking charges against Beaton and spent some time in jail before posting bail. On December 9, Lind faced a dispositional conference where he learned whether or not the charges would be dropped or if they would go to trial.

Radar Online reports that Adam was “certain” the charges would be dropped, but that is not the case. As a result, Adam pled “not guilty” to the charges that he stalked Beaton. He will be ordered to appear back in court early next year to find out where things will go from here.

In papers filed last month, Brooke Beaton suggested that Adam Lind has a violent temper and recounted an incident where she said, “Adam grabbed me by the back of the arms and threw me to the side. By the time I got down the stairs, he was gone. He took off running.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, leaked text messages between Adam and Beaton’s mother suggested that his ex-girlfriend was unstable and that he cared for her. It was also alleged that Adam, who has been arrested for DUI’s in the past, has been sober for quite some time, and that it was Beaton who took to drinking and partying, causing the Teen Mom 2 dad to end the relationship.

The Ashley reported that Brooke Beaton may have been talking to another of Adam’s ex-girlfriends, Jessica Nicole. Jessica also claimed that Adam had been violent with her during their relationship, but unlike Beaton, she did not seek a restraining order. She did, however, post photos of her arm on Instagram which she claims were “bruised by Adam.”

All the claims have left Chelsea Houska, who has a child with Adam Lind, nervous about leaving their daughter alone with him. While she may be uncomfortable leaving her with him, she doesn’t mind allowing Aubree to visit her grandparents, who are Adam’s parents.

Lind is now due in court February 4, 2015 in the afternoon. At that time, he will have the opportunity to take a plea deal, but if he declines, the case will continue on February 11, 2015 in front of a jury. However, before any of that happens, Starcasm reports he will appear in court on December 15 for a hearing regarding the temporary restraining order granted to Brooke Beaton.
