‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Post-Finale ‘Anarchy Afterword’ Details Released: Who Will Be There?
The series finale of Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesday, December 9 on FX and fans cannot wait. People may know some details regarding what goes down in the last episode, but there is still plenty of mystery surrounding how it all plays out. There will be one last Anarchy Afterword show as well, and now some details have emerged about who will be involved.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Kurt Sutter and Charlie Hunnam will be on-hand for the final Sons of Anarchy special Anarchy Afterword. There will be other SOA stars there as well, though so far no specifics have been released. Fans have gotten used to a bit of mystery with the show this season, as surprise guests tend to make an appearance when their characters have died in the show that night.
Show creator Kurt Sutter has made it known he’s terribly unhappy with a wholesaler snafu that led to significant Sons of Anarchy spoilers making it out ahead of the December 9 finale. The new book Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector’s Edition has details in it that reveal key developments in this last show, and the book was not supposed to be released until December 10. Unfortunately, a handful of the books were released early.
Sutter has made it clear that he is more than a bit unhappy about this wholesaler mistake, and he’s been quite passionate in his online responses to the incident. He says at this point there has been no resolution regarding how it happened, and he tweeted that “the corporate art of buck-passing has reached a new level of brilliance.”
While Sutter is furious, he remarks that a text from Tommy Flanagan, who plays Chibs, helped him shift his thinking. Flanagan reminded Sutter that the show isn’t Kurt’s, it belongs to the fans, and Kurt says he’s proud of the finale. He hopes people will tune in, which of course they will. Most would imagine that the Sons of Anarchy finale ratings will be through the roof.
Some fans may have read the Sons of Anarchy spoilers that reveal some key details about who is still standing at the end of the series finale, but the scoop regarding how it all happens remains under wraps. Sutter says that he, Charlie, and other cast members will hit Anarchy Afterword to “close this ride with some dignity and gratitude.”
The Sons of Anarchy spoiler reveal is unfortunate to say the least, but die-hard fans will still be on the edges of their seats come the finale titled “Papa’s Goods” on Tuesday night.
