Let $830,000 Go And Own A ‘Frozen’ Calendar Made Of Pure Platinum [Video]

Just when you think things are cooling down, things start heating up again with Disney’s Frozen movie obsession. From Frozen color-changing bras to pure platinum calendars, Japan is the place to find the most bizarre and ferocious Frozen fan fever.

According to Japan Today, Ginza store Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry KK is displaying the pure platinum Frozen calendar costing 100 million yen, or almost $830,000.

UPROXX reports the calendar weighs 22 pounds and is approximately 30″ x 20″. Made of thinly spread platinum, the calendar features a 2015 calendar on one side and artwork of Frozen characters Anna and Elsa on the opposite side.

For the people who can’t get their hands on that much money for the calendar, there will be other less expensive versions of the calendars. For about $500 or $130, Frozen-crazed parents and fans can get a less impressive calendar.

Japan has been hit hard with Disney’s animated hit. Women feel empowered by the movie in what has been described as a “chauvinist, male-dominated society” by the Guardian. In fact, the movie has already been blamed for a divorce. Apparently the wife was in disbelief that her husband had no feelings toward the movie whatsoever.

The company will be taking orders for the very expensive Frozen calendar and its cheaper counterparts until March, 2015.
