‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Spoilers: Funeral For Beth

The Walking Dead‘s Season 5 mid-season finale shocked viewers as they watched young Beth Green die at Grady Memorial Hospital at the hands of Dawn.

Now fans will have to wait until February to find out what happens in the aftermath of Beth’s death. However, Wet Paint reveals that Maggie’s little sister will seemingly have a funeral, which will be officiated by Father Gabriel.

In a new sneak peek of The Walking Dead Season 5, Episode 9, Father Gabriel speaks about life as a montage of Maggie crying and Noah crying, and the rest of the group appears to be struggling.

Maggie has now lost her entire family, with the exception of husband Glenn, and will probably be a wreck for the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, Daryl Dixon will also be an emotional roller rcoaster as he’s the one who led the mission to save Beth and carried her lifeless body out of Grady Memorial Hospital to make the funeral possible in the first place.

What will happen on The Walking Dead when it returns in February? Rumor has there will be a time jump as the Rick and the rest of the gang head toward either Virginia or D.C.

A time jump could let viewers skip some of the time that the group is on the road, as well as allow Morgan to catch up to the storyline.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Morgan is hot on the trail of Rick’s group, and will likely play a much bigger role in the second half of The Walking Dead Season 5.

The time until the mid-season premiere airs will give some Walking Dead fans time to cool off after AMC jumped the gun and “accidentally” posted the huge spoiler about Beth’s death on their official Facebook page, hours before the West Coast got to see the episode.

According to Entertainment Weekly, fans were outraged to log on to their Facebook accounts and see the post which basically ruined the entire mid-season finale for them. AMC later apologized for revealing the spoiler online.

“We heard your feedback to last night’s post, and we’re sorry. With zero negative intent, we jumped the gun and put up a spoiler. Please know we’re going to work to ensure that, in the future, possible spoilers by official AMC social feeds are killed before they can infect, certainly before the West Coast (U.S.) broadcast of The Walking Dead. As always, thank you for watching, and keep the comments coming. We appreciate all of your support.”
