Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Haven’t Called It Quits…Yet
It’s no secret to fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Take… that Kourtney Kardashian and her partner Scott Disick have had a rocky relationship during their seven years together. Long time fans may be surprised to know just how troubled Kardashian and Disick’s relationship has been.
In a clip from the upcoming episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian have a candid talk after Disick returns to their home from a stint in rehab. Kardashian seems reluctant to talk with “so many people around,” but Disick is insistent on explaining his side of things.
It seems Disick left a rehab program early, after finishing only three days of the six day program. As a defense, Disick points out that he went through detox, but wasn’t willing to undergo the intense 24-hour period of surveillance required to successfully complete the rehab program. Cameras for the couple’s reality TV series caught the conversation as Disick and Kardashian faced each other on a bed, separated by a few feet of empty space and tension.
Disick also defends his substance abuse problems by saying that they originate in the death of his parents, and him never taking the proper time to grieve. Despite Disick’s explanation, Kourtney silences Scott’s explanations by saying that she thinks the two need space. Disick’s response is a bit shocking: “How much more space do you need? We haven’t slept together in five years, what’s the difference?”
Sources close to the couple say the entire rehab trip was just for the show. According to them, Disick never seriously sought help for his substance abuse issues, and Kourtney doesn’t think he ever will.
“He is a good father but he’s not going to stop drinking,” a source who knows the couple said. “He didn’t go to rehab, it was just a few sessions for the show.”
Of course, there have been persistent rumors that Kardashian and Disick have already broken up. A source who knows the couple told RadarOnline that Kourtney walked out on Disick sometime earlier this month, temporarily staying with a friend with the couple’s children Mason, 4, and Penelope, 2. There have also been repeated sighting of the couple out in Los Angeles together, the most recent was a Beverly Hills shopping trip the couple took on November 28.
The episodes of Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons that are currently on air were filmed over the summer. Which means it’s possible that things are going to improve and the couple will reconcile, it’s also possible that their relationship has already imploded and they are just saving the announcement for after it plays out on Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons.
