After saying farewell to her rambunctious lifestyle as a realty TV star on Jersey Shore , Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, made it official and married the love of her life. Us Magazine reported that Snooki and Jionni LaValle tied the knot Saturday as family and friends looked on.
The mom of two children, Lorenzo, 2, and Giovanna Marie, 3 months, exchanged vows with her fiance of two years at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in East Hanover. Later, the newlyweds celebrated their reception at The Venetian, a banquet hall nearby in the town of Garfield. Previously, the Inquisitr shared a post about Snooki celebrating her bachelorette party in Miami ahead of her wedding.
Snooki’s wedding gown was an elaborate, flowing white dress with an embroidered bodice and lace applique. In the picture, Polizzi is seen holding a sparkling silver bouquet. The bride looked stunning, and showed off her amazing weight-loss to slim down ahead of her nuptials. Snooki actually wore two gowns, both by Bridal Reflections: one was the aforementioned traditional creation, the other was more whimsical for the wedding reception, which was themed behind the Great Gatsby .

Of course Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Snooki’s BFF, was part of the bridal party. The bridesmaids donned black gowns affixed with bows. After Snooki and Jionni said their “I dos,” it was on to the party where the cigars were puffed and the scotch flowed. Time Machine, an 18-piece band, provided the music at the wedding gala.
Polizzi, 27, and her hubby announced their engagement in March of 2012. Then, many critics, tabloids and social media pundits were taking virtual bets on how long the love affair would last. Given the half-pint-sized reality television star’s ultra-party lifestyle depicted on the Jersey series, it’s amazing that she’s come full-circle.
Recently, Snooki sat in an interview and talked about her roller coaster career. Based on the conversation, it seems like the now Mrs. Jionni LaValle is in a good place in her life — as a mom, and now a married woman .
“I have different priorities now. I don’t care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I’m ready and he’s ready.”
