Kate Middleton is reportedly going to buy Prince Harry a puppy Christmas. That noise you heard was the whole world collectively going, “Awwwww!”
A source for the Daily Mail [via Vanity Fair ] has claimed that the Duchess Of Cambridge has decided to purchase her brother-in-law the adorable gift after seeing how much he loves to spend time with her dog, Lupo.
“Kate knows how much Harry loves Lupo and how much joy he brings him, so it makes sense he should have his own puppy.”
Kate Middleton is thought to have even picked out a yellow labrador from Drakeshead, a British breeder that, according to the Daily Mail , has “been successfully breeding and training gun dogs for the past 45 years.” In fact she is said to be so far ahead with her planning that the pooch might even arrive “at the end of November.”
The source went on to explain that once a new batch of puppies have been born, the 30-year-old will then make his way over to the pound, where he will decide which one to take home with him back to Kensington Palace.
However, if you’re worried that Prince Harry’s dog will be lonely when he goes off to serve with the Army or on his royal duties, Kate Middleton has already formed a dog-sitting plan. According to this know-it-all source, Kate Middleton is willing to look after the dog when Harry isn’t around.
“Apparently she is willing to look after the dog if Harry has to go abroad for Royal duties or with the Army.”
The source also went on to note that Kate and Prince William devised the plan to buy Harry a puppy because they know just how lonely he can get “living on his own.”
It hasn’t been revealed quite how this insider was able to get this information from the Duchess. We are currently only in the latter stages of November and most people haven’t even started to consider the gifts that they might purchase for their loved ones.
However, despite this slight glitch, we can all probably agree that if Kate Middleton did actually go ahead and buy Prince Harry a puppy, then it would simply be just perfect.
