WWE News: Randy Orton Scheduled To Return At Survivor Series?

Always remember the day November 21, 2014, because huge news shocked the professional wrestling landscape. As the Inquisitr already reported, wrestling legend Sting is set to make his long-awaited debut in WWE. Since he signed his contract, Sting has only made a few public appearances for the WWE. Clearly, that isn’t what the fans want in the long-run. They want Sting to debut on WWE programming.

If you believe the internet in full, then your dreams will come true tomorrow night at 8 pm EST in St. Louis, Missouri. Speaking of St. Louis, another big name is set to appear tomorrow night in Survivor Series. To give the WWE Universe a clue, he grew up in St. Louis.

In addition to the MAJOR NAME already scheduled for tomorrow night’s WWE Survivor Series, Randy Orton flew in from New Mexico to St. Louis yesterday ahead of his return according to PWInsider.

Orton took some time off to shoot for “The Condemned 2” which is being produced by WWE Studios.

There is a big difference between the rumors about Orton and Sting. Nobody really knows where the Sting rumors started. For all the WWE fans know, it is fake and a fan made up the rumor to be creative and unique. As for the Orton story, someone actually saw him in St. Louis, Missouri. Therefore, Orton could in fact be confirmed for tomorrow night’s show.

The main reason WWE wants to promote Survivor Series like a WrestleMania is because of the WWE Network being free for the month of November. Survivor Series is going on without a cost to the new viewers of the WWE Network. Vince McMahon and Triple H understand that they need to keep more fans on the Network. They already failed in their projections for the third quarter, so a win for Survivor Series is the next big achievement they desperately need.

Taking a look at the full match card for tomorrow night’s pay-per-view, a slew of matches stand out as potential show-stealers. Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt will bring the house down as always. Expect a promo between the two men before the match too. WWE can’t go another night without having those two on the stick.

As for the main event, people cannot underestimate the star power in that match. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper add another element that wasn’t previously anticipated. A big heel will take on a big face to see who the better Wyatt brother is. WWE will win with this pay-per-view, especially if Sting and Randy Orton appear.
