‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Bosses Are Unhappy With NeNe Leakes Over Lackluster Season Seven Performance

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 debuted on Bravo earlier this month. Unfortunately, there was something seemingly missing from the show.

According to a new report, the drama that typically surrounds NeNe Leakes has been nearly non-existent and her bosses at Bravo are extremely disappointed. While Leakes is usually the show’s star, and the center of attention, she’s allegedly been sitting back, letting the drama unfold without her.

“The bosses aren’t happy at all with NeNe, and think she held back during filming of RHOA,” network sources revealed to Radar Online on November 18. “It’s obvious to fans that NeNe just doesn’t want to be on the show anymore. NeNe is so over the top and so sassy that when those things didn’t materialize all that often during filming, producers took notice.”

While things with Leakes have been lackluster on-screen, they have been quite eventful off-screen, according to the Inquisitr. Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore have both issued public statements against Leakes, with Bailey calling her out as a fair-weather friend who is threatened by anyone who could potentially steal her spotlight.

Radar claimed Leakes was seen on Good Morning America recently, where she dished on her belief that new Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members were desperate for fame and causing tons of trouble on set in an effort to get the spotlight on them. “I don’t like when they come on and they’re doing so much … It really disturbs me because when we started with me and Kim [Zolciak] way back, we were just being ourselves, and new girls come on and they do so much just to be on camera for a few minutes.”

In response to Leakes’ GMA interview, Radar‘s source said, “There is no bigger diva in any of the Housewives franchises than her. Period. She can be very, very difficult to work with. She seems to have forgotten that RHOA made her a star.”

As the Inquisitr reported last month, Leakes has reportedly quit The Real Housewives of Atlanta to focus on her acting career and other ventures.? Although nothing has been confirmed by Bravo or Leakes in regard to her future on the show, Leakes has shared a few questionable tweets with fans, one of which can be seen below.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
