If you were disappointed by the relatively tame level of destruction seen in Battlefield 3‘s mutliplayer maps, the Back to Karkand map pack looks to be right up your alley.
EA and DICE sent out a video today that shows us a good amount of new gameplay from the Strike of Karkand map pack, including some footage of a few of the new guns you’ll be using, and the aforementioned ramped up level of destruction.
Compared to the standard Battlefield 3 maps, you can definitely tell from the video that DICE wasn’t fooling around when they said much more of the map would be destructible in the re-imagining of the classic Battlefield maps.
Battlefield 3‘s Back to Karkand map pack is due out in December on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PlayStation 3 owners will get it a week earlier as part of a timed exclusivity deal between Sony and EA.
