Kate Middleton Completes Busy Weekend With World War One Tribute, But Is She Tired?

Kate Middleton solemnly attended the Remembrance Sunday ceremony in London after a hectic weekend that saw her visit the Valero Pembroke Refinery in Wales less than 24 hours earlier.

Standing alongside Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Duchess Of Cambridge wore an all black ensemble to the event and looked sombre throughout. She also made sure to wear a poppy broach too, which millions upon millions of people do to commemorate the soldiers who died during World War I.

This year’s Remembrance Sunday marked the 100th year since the First World War concluded. According to OK, Kate Middleton looked solemn and emotional throughout the service as she sang numerous hymns. She still made sure to cover her burgeoning baby bump with her hands though.

Alongside Middleton and Parker-Bowles was Prince Charles, The Queen, and Prince Philip as well as Middleton’s husband, Prince William. Each member of the royal family paid their respects and looked on as servicemen and veterans marched down The Mall in central London.

Middleton visited The Tower Of London’s Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation back in August, where she was clearly moved by the stirring tribute to Great Britain’s fallen soldiers.

Middleton’s role in the tributes on Sunday came just a day after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Valero Pembroke Refinery on Saturday. The duo spent several hours touring the local area and grounds. Various members of the press tried their hardest to get a glimpse of Kate’s stomach, while the Inquisitr even started to speculate that the reason she had worn a blue coat was her way of indicating that she was expecting a boy.

Middleton’s antics over the busy weekend come just a few weeks after she was bed-ridden with severe morning sickness. She returned to her duties at the end of October. But the fact that she has since allegedly been staying with her parents as she looks to recover, and also recently took a holiday with her husband and first child in order to recuperate from her illness, suggest that she still isn’t at 100 percent just yet.

That’s why it was quite surprising to see her at two events that are situated 250 miles apart, especially since they both took place within 24 hours. Celeb Dirty Laundry even reported that Kate Middleton looked strained when she was in Pembroke, and the long journey back to the English capital will only have made her feel worse for her role in the Remembrance Sunday service. Despite these concerns, she still looked radiant. Let’s just hope that she has a nice warm bath to help her ease the pain of her busy last few days.
