When Sting has his WWE match, it’s almost certainly going to be WrestleMania 31 , but the question remains for who his opponent in the ring will be. Hulk Hogan is already calling it, saying that The Undertaker Vs. Sting is very likely, although he thinks even John Cena might come into the picture somehow.

In a related report by the Inquisitr , if you think you know your WWE history about The Undertaker then you might want to check out the linked article. Did you you know Mark Calaway once was focused on a basketball career?

Apparently, Hulk Hogan is training to be in a WrestleMania 31 match and claims to have evidence that he’s ready. The hard part is convincing Vince McMahon and Triple H to give him permission to have a final match. As part of this CBS interview, Hogan was also asked about the possibility of wrestling Sting at WrestleMania 31 , which would seem a more fair fight since Sting is 55 years old and Hulk turned 61 this fall.

Surprisingly, Hogan dismissed the possibility of a match with Sting.

“I don’t think the match would be Sting and Hogan. Sting has been talking about The Undertaker. I’ve got a split decision, I think either the Undertaker or John Cena would be a great match for Sting. I really have a gut feeling that we’re going to see some Stinger Splashes at WrestleMania 31 . That’s my opinion.”

Hulk Hogan has made it no secret that he would also like to take on John Cena himself. As Hulk noted, Sting has publicly said that The Undertaker’s streak is not necessary for a reason for them to rumble. In fact, Sting doesn’t think there needs to be a story line at all, just a WWE match between him and the Deadman. That’s it.

Unfortunately, when fans asked Mark Calaway about taking on Sting at WrestleMania 31 The Undertaker seemed uninterested in the prospect. When Kane gave a recent interview during Halloween he also noted that The Undertaker would only return to the ring again if he felt he could handle it.

“I don’t know. You know, I don’t know. He’s one of the greatest competitors of all time. I think what it’s going to come down to with ‘Taker is that if he believes he can perform at the level he wants to perform at. That’s going to be the determining factor. That’s going to be for him to decide and no one else.”

Who would you like to see Sting take on at WrestleMania 31 : The Undertaker, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, or someone else?
