Amber Portwood Shares Photo Of Boyfriend As He Gets Her Name Tattooed On His Arm
Amber Portwood and her boyfriend appear to be getting serious. After her Nov. 2013 prison release, the Teen Mom moved on from Gary Shirley, the father of her five-year-old daughter, Leah, and began dating a mystery man.
Even now, several months into the relationship, Portwood has yet to reveal his identity. Recently, however, she shared a photo of him online and revealed he now has her first name tattooed on his forearm.
Of the new photo of Amber Portwood’s boyfriend, Starcasm said he could be seen with Leah, “playing at a park as they brace themselves to go down a slide. From the picture we’ve learned he wears glasses, has dark hair, and enjoys wearing flannel on a chilly fall day.”
In the second photo, which featured Portwood’s boyfriend’s “Amber” tattoo, Portwood wrote, “I think he loves me? Lol baby surprised me with this the other day.”
Another recent surprise, at least for fans, was a photo Portwood posted, which appeared to include an engagement ring on her finger. Although it was never confirmed or denied, the photo, as the Inquisitr reported, led to speculation that that the Teen Mom was engaged.
In an interview with Starcasm in September, Amber Portwood claimed she and her new man were taking things slow.
“I have been talking specifically to one person and I really do feel like I love him, but we’re not together. We’re taking things really slow. I have to get myself back in gear and tell myself, ‘Ok, I can trust men, I just have to not be naive.’ That’s a problem that I have because I’m very naive when it comes to love… I do believe that I trust this man. I hope that I can trust him.”
Also in her interview with Starcasm, Amber Portwood updated readers on her relationship with Shirley, telling the site, “We don’t really argue anymore because we don’t have that personal relationship anymore.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Shirley is currently in a relationship with Kristina Anderson, whom he began dating a short while after Portwood entered prison, and the pair are said to be expecting their first child.
“Gary told Amber that Kristina is pregnant with his baby about a month ago,” a source close to Portwood told Radar Online in October. “Amber was really upset at first,” the source said, but now, she’s focusing on herself and getting more time with Leah. Leah is her main concern.”
Amber Portwood, along with Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell, will return for a fifth season of Teen Mom next year on MTV.
