Inmate Brags About Lifestyle Behind Bars On Facebook, Insists The Crime He Committed Was ‘Worth It’

In most cases, incarceration leads to reformation for inmates. However, there’s reportedly one inmate who refuses to show any type remorse for his actions. As a matter of fact, he insists committing the crime is worth the new lifestyle he has behind bars.

According to the Mirror, an inmate named Lee Cekic is reportedly serving 15 years at the HM Prison Swaleside, on the Isle of Sheppey, for the brutal 2012 assault of Joe Bath. The victim, who was dating Cekic’s sister at the time, reportedly suffered life threatening injuries after being stabbed in the face and beaten unconscious twice. Bath suffered two stab wounds to the head, bleeding on the brain in two different areas, a skull fracture, and bodily bruising.

So, most would assume Cekic is doing “hard time” for the crime, right? Well, not exactly. As a matter of fact, the 25-year-old former boxer doesn’t seem to be doing anything remotely close to “hard time.” If anything, he’s having a good time. Cekic is actually more comfortable than some who aren’t behind bars, and has had no reservations about doting on his complacent lifestyle. But, how he’s boasting is relatively shocking! Even though he’s incarcerated, he has access to Facebook.

“I won’t change, if anything I will be a lot worse,” one of Cekic’s statuses read.

Then, on August 21, Cekic took to the popular social media platform with a number of interesting details about his life behind bars. He bragged about his “five meals a day and free gym membership.” But, that’s not all! He also boasted about another surprising perk: access to illegal steroids.

“Once I’ve done my morning routine I look around and say to myself God don’t like me that much because look where I am, then on the other hand the devil says to me this is the life boy.

“Five meals a day, free gym membership, no TV licence, visits when you want, and a s*** load of roids (steroids) and w*** mags and you’re still going home in four-and-a-half years’ time. So it was all worth it.”

Cekic also made it clear that he has no plans to reform. He’s even bragged about the stabbing incident and predicted that he’ll end up back in jail after being released. According to the Thanet Gazette, most of his posts were written from his cell.

“No doubt I will end up back in here for putting some next c*** in a boot but that’s just a normal day for me. All I need is my family and a few good pals around me and before you know it I will be home.

“And for all you people asking how I am – I’m doing f***ing blinding.”

Of course, Cekic’s Facebook page has since been deleted, but not before catching the attention of the media. Needless to say, his actions have stirred controversy. The fact that he is even allowed to have access to social media is quite disconcerting for most people. The victim’s family has also expressed their disdain for Cekic’s social media access, reports My Next Fone.

Here’s what they had to say.

“Joe barely leaves the house because he is terrified of what might happen to him. He can’t stand that Lee seems to be having such a great time in prison. I can’t even understand why he is allowed access to the internet. It means he is able to communicate with whoever he wants and spread threats back to home.”

However, Cekic isn’t the only person who has bragged about life behind bars. Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez has written several letters from behind bars, bragging about how much easier his life has been since he’s been incarcerated.
